ARTRIP, 69, of Glen Carbon, IL., at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL. Born Apr. 5,
1928 at Prichard, Wayne County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Lakin)
Michael. Preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Harvey R. Michael. Survivors include three
sons, Dr. Michael and his wife, Judith Artrip, David and his wife, Gina Artrip, and Kirk
Artrip; a sister-in-law, Joanna Michael. Burial Jan. 24, 1998 in Springfield, MO.

DIED - Jan. 30, 1998 ** EULAH A. BLACK, 89, of Barboursville,
W. Va. Born Apr. 24, 1908 in Wayne County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Robert Bruce and
Rebecca Josephine (Canterbury) Coffman. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert Black.
Survivors include five daughters, Birtie Mae Elliott, Mary Bell Mullins, Anna Louise
LeGrand, Judy Gayle McCloud, and Shirley Jean Bates; four sons, Albert Black, Jr., Homer
Lee Black, Gary Don Black and Larry Steven Black. Burial Feb. 2, 1998 in Forest Memorial
Park.

HILLYER, 50 , of Proctorville, OH. at Moses Lake, WA. Born Jun. 28, 1948, at
Bradshaw, W. Va., a son of Greetice Ellis Milam and the late Lawrence Hillyer. Preceded in
death by a brother, Larry Hillyer. Survivors include two daughters, Larissa Lael Hillyer
and April Lynn Hillyer; a sister, Gina Shann; two brothers, Robert Milam and Frederick
Milam. Burial Feb. 4, 1998, in Arrowood-Dutton Cemetery, Wayne, W. Va.
