LONE WILLOW FARM
PERENNIALS

My love of gardening has grown into this seasonal business.  I figured that if I potted extra plants and bought in quantity, I could support my habit without impoverishing my family.  So, you have the opportunity to buy direct from the grower.  Since I don't have a dedicated retail center, you'll have to contact me to make arrangements to see the over 200 varieties of plants I have to offer.  This website has kind of developed the same way and you'll find a mix of what has struck my fancy.  Enjoy your visit.

** A special Plant Sale will be held May 18th and 19th from 8am to dark **

Directions

Where is also a complete Plant list that you can browse and sort.  But, be forewarned - It takes a minute or so to load which, in nanosecond/microwave time, seems long.

Need more information ?  Contact us>        These plants, plus a full selection of herbs, are also available at the Capitol Farmers Market in Charleston.

A word about our plants: Our plants are not forced in greenhouses.  Many have been in the pot since last fall and they winter over in unheated coldframes.  What does that mean for you?  That means you're getting fully acclimated plants that are in their natural cycle.  That means you won't find late-summer flowering perennials in full bloom in May- they're not supposed to be - they'll bloom in your garden in late summer.  That means you'll spend more time enjoying your garden and less time replacing plants.
