Headline: CITY DIRECTORY GOES TO PRESS
The New City Directory which was compiled by the Nicholas Republican
is now being printed, work on the publication of the book having commenced
last week. The publishers hope to have the work complete by April 15th
at which time it will be on sale at various points within the city.
The book promises to be of real value to the people of our city, nothing
before having been attempted in this line. A careful canvass of the
city having been made at great expense to the publishers the hearty
cooperation of the professional and business people is necessary for
the successful carrying forward of the work. This in a measure is being
accomplished. Every business and professional man should be represented
in the volume which is a varitable [sic.] mine of information relative
to our beautiful little city. Don't wait for our representatives to
call on you but call us up and advise us that you desire advertising
space in the very best advertising medium in the city. A book which
will be placed in practically every home and will be consulted as regularly
as the telephone directory or the almanac.
Pastors, and officers of fraternal and all civic bodies are requested
to send us at once a schedule of officers, places and times of meetings
and other information relative to your organizations. To make sure that
your organization is listed properly do this and DO IT NOW. WON'T YOU
LEND US THIS COOPERATIVE AID? We are publishing a book that will be
a credit in your business and our city. Help it along.
