.)  We decided to take this "booze cruise" one evening.  It is located at the end of the Malacon, directly across form the El Morro fort in Havana Harbor.  Behold, the Havana PrincessAlso pictured is a cigar wrapper insert from a box of Romeo y Julieta Churchills and some Cuban pesos.

.)  We visited fort El Morro where we watched the 9pm canon firing.  We got to witness a beautiful sunset just before the blast.  This is a very good vantage point to observe the city. Sunset 1Sunset 2Sunset 3Sunset 4

.)  We stopped in Revolutionary Square one afternoon to take pictures of the monuments there.  This is a famous picture of Che Guevara that I snapped in about 95 degree heat.  Che

.)  Here's a cool shot of the girls flirting with the bus driver, Carlos, on the steps of the University of Havana.  (L to R: Jen, Adriana, Carlos, Shelly...back: Lindsay)  babes

.)  Here is the bartender at La Bodeguita del Medio.  This is where I lost my virginity to the Mojito!  Try this drink here.  There is a plaque signed by Hemingway looming in the background.  "He has his mojitos in La Bodeguita, and his daiquiris in El Floridita." Mojitos!

.)  Here is the Front of the University of Havana. I tried to sit in this hand

.)  There are many talented and crazy dancers in Cuba.  I spotted this wildman at the east beaches with this hot chick! Don JuanDon Juan 2

.)  Here is the place where Hemingway stayed during his time in Cuba.   Hotel Ambos Mundos

.)  I watched this guy paint this picture in this small park in Old Habanna.   Local Artist

.)  Jen is looking on as I snapped an illegal photo of this cool Cop cruiser!   What a rebel!

.)  The palm trees were beautiful here.  THis is the entrance into Old Habanna.  There was a filthy old clown with a homemade polaroid camera that would eagerly take your picture for $$$. You want the picture? I get you the picture, but you pay for the picture!

.)  Outside one of the guys' residences, waiting for the bus.  (L to R Back:  Mike, Senior Goober, Lee, Hiromi, Ryan, and Paul.  Front:  Shelly, Tim, T.J., and Roger) posse

.)  Ah, yes, the hotel club Capri.  Wow.  Some crazy stuff went down here.  $10 all you can drink (open bar), including flamingo dancing acts, singing, and discotecque at 1am!  A must for future good-timers.  Shelly and I are humorously posing for a photo.   Too many pina coladas!

.)  Shelly is being chased by guitar-playing cubans singing a song about a pretty woman.  They chased her for a good block until she stopped blushing!  (it was worth $5!!!)  haha

.)  Here is D.T. giving the lady from the Center for Youth Crime Prevention some "tokens of our appreciation".  Notice that there is ice water and coffee in front of everyone.  We were treated extremely well at every outing.  (Our translator, Olga, is to the right of D.T.; the speaker is in the middle, and Mike and Dan are to the right of the photo.)   Another hat?!?

.)  I just got done with a delicious lunch at the east beach and manged to down 7-10 beers.  Note the green cans of Cristal on the table.  This stuff is the national beer.  It's cheaper than water.  Trust me...it will be your friends come morning!  I am hard at work writing on my journal here.  This was our first full day in Cuba.  (L to R:  Me (Brian), Bob, Paul, and David)  There just might be a future governor at this table!  Cervezas bueno
