Little Big Man is a very dairy and refined buck, with a very level back 

and rump and he passes on those qualities to his prodigy. All display 

the ability to produce lots of milk and have his pleasant disposition 

and mellow temperament. Little Big Man was the first American Alpine 

kid born on our farm in 1999. All our stock is related to him in some kind 

way. We did not use him for breeding in 2005 because our herd is 

getting pretty inbred. We will probably keep him as a pet, he is Dale's 

favorite goat.:-)

We consider ourselves fortunate to have purchased Rainman from 

Bethel Farm in Iowa in the spring of 2004. He brought with him a 

pedigree of excellence in both type and production. We used him 

on 8 does as a kid and he produced 15 kids, 10 doelings and 5 

bucklings -not bad:-) All the kids looked identical in body type, lots 

of bone and width, with a huge chest. His dam Sedona has one of 

the nicest udders at Bethel and we are anxious to find out if he 

improves udders as well. We downsized our herd in 2005 and almost 

half of the does are his daughters, we are offering Rainman for sale. 

He just does not get the use in our small herd he deserves. He would 

also make a great commercial buck.    $500.00
